Job Title: Intern

Description: ICF Macro, a global professional services firm, is seeking an intern for the MEASURE Demographic and Health Surveys (DHS) project. The intern will verify international HIV indicator data, checking the existing database against written final reports and documenting discrepancies. This is a full-time temporary position for a minimum of two months, with a possible extension for a third month; it is also possible the job will continue part-time beyond the summer. The job will be based at the ICF Macro Calverton office near the intersection of 495/95.

Qualifications:
• Must have completed at least three years of university work in public health, sociology, psychology, or other social science.
• Experience with social science data required; experience with DHS data and knowledge of STATA, SPSS or SAS preferred.
• Facility in working in Excel, Word, and Internet applications.
• Must be detail-oriented.
